VIP Security: By restricting access by IP, you block any unauthorized login attempts before they even reach your server.

To ensure maximum security, we recommend restricting access to port 8443 (CloudPanel) so it is only accessible from your static IP or your VPN (WireGuard) internal IP.
Step 1: Find your current IP address
Before you begin, identify your current public IP. Check my IP here
Tip: Right-click the button and select "Open in new tab" to keep this guide open.
Step 2: Configure the Firewall in the Client Area
- Log in to your MarcyTech Solutions Client Area.
- Go to Services > Select your VPS.
- In the menu, look for the Cloud Firewall option.
- Locate the rule for port 8443:
- In the Source field, delete
0.0.0.0/0. - Type your IP followed by
/32(Ex:190.200.10.5/32).
- In the Source field, delete
- Click Save Changes.
Important Note: If your IP changes, you will temporarily lose access. You will simply need to log back into the Client Area and update the IP in the Firewall rule.
